BANGKOK MAYOR TACKLES PROBLEMS FORCEFULLY
Sanet as a guest at the FRANCO-THAI Chamber. Bangkok’s new mayor Chadchart Sittipunt once again showed himself to be an imaginative “doer” who recognizes and tackles the various challenges this huge city is facing.

More than 100 guests accepted the invitation of the FRANCO-THAI Chamber of Commerce to a luncheon with the hopeful of many people in Bangkok. And Mr. Chadchart did not disappoint his audience.
One of his major goals he targets for Bangkok is not only maintain being the Number 1 spot for the international city tourism, but also to finally move up from a meager 98th place among the most livable cities. Overall, it was a bouquet of transparent activities that Chadchart did initiate and implement quickly.
For example, he stated, immediately after taking office, he radically shortened administrative channels and created a digital platform for notifying defects, where citizens can directly enter and report specific grievances. The heads of the districts are now directly authorized and also obligated to rectify the defects. This direct competence shortened the decision-making process by an average of seven steps. The performance of those responsible in the districts is now measured by the average time it takes for the citizens’ reports to disappear from that platform as having been rectified.

THE SMART PATH INTO THE THAI MARKET: FIRST GROW THEN INVEST
Sales and service hub at Sanet Trade & Services: As many as 30 companies from such diverse industries as machine builders, chemicals, medical technology, automotive parts or IT have already made and are making their first steps in Thailand with a Sales and Service Hub (“Business Unit“) at Sanet Trade & Services in Thailand.
Whether for sales, marketing or technical service: Sanet Trade & Services is the recognized service partner for all those who want to serve their customers in Thailand using exclusive sales or service personnel in their own Business Unit.
For a transparent and economically justifiable service fee, Sanet supports marketing, sales, and technical services especially of medium-sized companies from Europe with specially assigned and trained employees and thereby works closely together with the principal. Commission and margins of a traditional distribution partner are thus avoided.
If the market proves to be promising, the associated German-speaking law firm Sanet Legal helps to set up a wholly foreign owned subsidiary (WFOE) or joint venture. As a rule, the company knows after about two to three years whether the market and its own resources justify the investment in its own entity. However, many companies continue to use this cost-effective sales and service set-up for many years. Take a look at our references for the Business Unit.
